How Horrible was it!!!

Honestly, I was so incredibly annoyed and frustrated with the last 2 shows.

First, what was that crap with forcing them to make a 13th look. ridiculous! and the way they shot the runway this year....what was that! Close up here, shot here, pan to the crowd. Last year they just put the camrea at the end and showed the collections in their entirity. I don't need a shot of Nick's face as something of Daniel's comes out. I just want to look at the look and see the model walk it and make my accessment. Really, why did they have to fuck it up!

And really,....Danial was all critizing Santino for being arrogant. No, I think Santino is Confident, and Danial became extremely Arrogant. It was getting on my nerves and he seriously needs to get over himself.

I guess while I'm on the subject of Daniel I critque him first. What a horrible, disappointing collection! I think I liked some of Wendy's things better. Honestly, his collection was so pretentious. Oh Look at me, I'm smooth and sophicated, but..not really, he was boring! The whole thing was boring, and badly cut. And those handbages, I've never seen anything so ugly. and seriously, what was with that wallpaper coat? The print is so crazy that you can't see the line or the cut of the coat, so it's a head floating atop of wallpaper. (Garden State anyone?) ...and those weird patches on the fronts of the dresses. The horrible one that he was finishing the show with the model couldn't even walk in! He has designed how many dresses for her to wear? he knows how to fit it her body specifically and he creates a dress she can't even walk in? and finishes his show with her stumbling. Yes, that's a great final impression. He did have a few pieces I could get behind, but on a whole it was just so boring and cliche and badly shaped.

And Santino,...I don't know what to say. I love Santino, I think his work is fantastic, and I think people need to lighten up. ...but I wasn't wowed by his collection. It was lovely, but it just seemed alittle flat, might have been better for the Lingerie challenge.

Now, with we regards to Chole. I do think she was the rightful winner. I have consistantly agreed with the judging. (Seriously people, I love Nick, but if you are going to be a designer you have to be able to pick the right fabrics, understand how that fabric will work and fit. and it should be common knowledge that if you are making a man's suit, the pants should have pockets and the coat should button! Such things are so basic.)

I think that this was the correct final three.

That being said, I wasn't too thrilled with Chole either, but her collection was the best. It was the most interesting, most unique and she seems to be most business savy. I love Santino, but he always seems to have problems flattering the woman's body. Chole doesn't have this problem.

But, really what was the first pink thing? and that wallpaper print?

The point I'm trying to make is that last season's finale was AMAZING!!!! Kara Saun's was breathtaking high fashion, and Jay's was Funk Street Chic. ....admittedly I liked Jay's more because it was my type of clothes, but most of Kara Saun's collection was spellbinding! So incredible and beautiful and interesting!

...And Jay's, to this day I DESPRATELY want EVERYTHING that came down that runway. I still drool over it. ...and Becky would murder small children for the skirt with the green dots.

Last year I was so completely blown away by both of them,....and this year my impression was consistently, "....eh."
