That thing they say about good intentions is tragically true,
that or I just lack the right kind of motivation and momentum.
I had every intention, to finish The Cheese Monkeys on Sunday afternoon.
I started reading a little tonight, just a little, intending to go to bed around 3.
What time is in now? a little after five, and yes, I had to finish the book tonight.
I devoured the last half.
Not that this half was paced any better, but I just couldn't help myself.
I had to finish, all else be damned.
And I have to say, it is a Fucking Brilliant Book!
Brilliant!
Mind blowing, turn your world on its head, change your life (in theory, but you know what the say about good intentions) Brilliant!
It is laugh out loud funny, it is nerve racking, it is scary.
Yes, it is shallow AND Deep.
It creates characters so real that you know them, each and every one of them, maybe you are, in fact, one of them.
I argued and disagreed with this book!
I was tormented and disgusted by this book.
Confused and standing on the platform dizzy,
In complete awe of the experience, waiting to catch my balance, regain my footing, before stumbling forth trying to make heads or tails of the experience. Was it good? Bad? Worth it?
Definitely memorable
and oh yeah,
Good is Dead.
