Okay, so I've been reading the fan list for Underworld and so many people on it just suck ass!! and I see that just from their profile ....People listing books and movies as favorites because they heard they were good! what the hell is that about? Oh....that or they are 14 or 15. ...Which saddens me because I wanted to find some diaries of some fellow vampire lovers.

Tomb Raider 2: "Alright, I never really watched this movie. I was there with Jonas and we kinda made out during the entire thing. Good movie! :)"

Anne Rice: "Um, I've never actually read her, but I've heard she's great."

Underworld: "Haven't seen it yet, but I so want to see it. Vamps & Wolves (my kind of stuff)"

Underworld: "Coming soon, but I KNOW it's going to be a favorite"

Or they give away surprise endings of movies.

"No one ever suspected it to be the retarded guy..."

Following 2 are from the same person

Interview with the vampire: "This movie got me into the series, tho I have yet to read the books"

Queen of the Damned: "Wonderful movie, music was good ^^ and Lestat was HOT!"

Or are just stupid!

"i like Aaliyah music i love the net and Mtv is the best channel EVER!!!"

Underworld "That movie was ok, what I dont get is that the vampires use guns, and the other dudes use...teeth and claws...messed up if you ask me. Oh, and my opinion from the books i've read, is that when a vampire bites a person, thays horring, they open a smal"

Hello, the werewolves used guns too!

Okay I am finally getting around to writing a review of Underworld.

This film has done much to revitolize my long time yet dormant lying relationship with the blood sucking creature of the night.

I've written about this before...but I have always had a huge boner for vampires that started with the Crime Time After Primetime show "Forever Knight".

When I saw this movie (which I've seen twice already) I have to say that it was the world I have always pictured for vampires to live in. Every new thing whether it was a better detail of the house, or the clothes they wear I couldn't help but think, "YES! Vampires would wear that!" or "Yes! Vampires would live there..and they'd have that floor, and that room and they WOULD drink their blood from glass goblets, and they would walk together in a pack of bitchy and attitude." No one can be sexier, bitchier, have more grace, beauty and attitude than a vampire. These were the vampires of my imagination. If I were a vampire I would wear her leather catsuit, her boots and then when I was chillin' around my house...I would wear elegant gowns. Mmmmm all about the vampire fashion.

But...enough of the look of the vampires. lets get to the plot. Yes there is some. It's not an especially complicated plot, nor is it especially new but it is rather new to the world of film (atleast for me because I don't watch war movies) and it does raise some interesting questions. It's a very good parallel for the rest of the world. ...Some how seeing political drama in a mircocosum of a reality is an interesting way to look at actual reality. I like the fact that this movie is unlike most movies, especially horror, where it's really easy to find the bad guy. That is not the case for this one. It becomes really cloudly who is right and who is wrong. And I liked that....because no one fighting a war thinks they are the bad guy. ~cogeorgewbushugh~ I liked it. No one will spend money and sacrifice lives or even die for a cause they don't believe is right. However their percetion of reality and that the cause they believe started the fray might not be accurate, and those people who are the footsoliders and warriors fighting out the political and buericratic revolution fighting with a gut feeling and a hope in the pit of their heart that they are doing what's right. That they are killing for the right reasons, and that their friends aren't dying in vain......what if one day you woke up and understood it all. What would you do? Would you try to stop it? Do all that you could? or would you go on just the same walking blindly in your own ambition?

...can't wait to own that one.
