One of the things about this whole war situation that gets me is all the propaganda. I love all the things that the media is presenting that are either complete bullshit or entirely irrelevant. ....Or that's just straight up propaganda. ...Most of this I actually learned in my logic class today is called Scizophrinic thinking. One of the aspects of this is Ascociation without comparison.

1. The other day I had a some free time inbetween classes so I decided to watch alittle war. I turned on my Tv, and there was Gdub smiling like he was fuckin' on X or something. I was just walking around and shaking hands...acting all happy. The over the top I heard Dan rather talking about all the Iraqies that had been killed. And in the background there was some very sudtle musice which I later determained was Stars and Strips for ever. (after getting it in my head and singing "be kind to your web footed friends.."

2. The night of the deadline my dad watch watching the news and they were showing a large number of Iraqi women holding hand guns and waving them around, stating that soldiers attacked them they would fight back. The point the media was trying to prove as that "Look even the women in this country are armed and wanting to kill Americans"! HELLO How many people in this country would pull out their guns and wave them around if soldiers, particularly those of an enemy country, came knocking at their door. ..We in this country would do the exact same thing.

3. I heard something on the radio saturday morning. They played an assortment of sound bytes for Dub's weekly radio show, all of which were pointing out the attrocities which the Iraqies were doing...then at the end they stated that an Iraqi soldier killed 4 American soldiers...and that Iraqi news were staying it was 19. ...Insinuating that Iraqies were celebrating the deaths of Americans...the supposed to anger a patriotic American. ...HELLO PEOPLE! ..this country is doing the exact same thing. I heard that other day that we bombed some Iraqi military headquaters killing 200. You can't tell me that wasn't an exagerated number, and that we weren't celebrating those deaths.

4. Today Marty and I were eating some lunch and watching some war and one of the events which they felt they needed to present was the story of 2 soldier who and been stranded for an undisclosed length of time. After building bunkers they were hide from Iraqies and were eventually rescued stating that they were hungry and relieved to be rescued. Of course they were fucking hungry and relieved to be rescued.

5. On that same news program they were quoting some US military person who stated that the attackes in this war are going to be both 'sudtle and unsudtle". Again, this isn't ground breaking news! Yeah, we're going to bomb the hell out of them, raid their homes and at the same time mind fuck them. No shit.
