| The Princess and The Warrior July 11, 2002 6:02 p.m. Related Reading  I found a new movie to adore! What is it? der krieger und die kaiserin aka The Warrior and the Princess. It is the most recent film by the creators of Run Lola Run This movie (the warrior and the Princess) I absolutely LOVED!! it is the best movie I have seen in a long time!
It is very beautifully constructed. From storyline, to the acting, dircting, shot composition....I mean there is no other word to decribe it, but beautiful. Beautiful in so many ways. At the same time, it is very fucked up. Also one of the most fucked up films I've seen in awhile. From disturbing images, to freaky psycho ward patients who creep the living day lights out of you. to some up, the film creeps you out severally my forcing you to jump to conclusions. Something will happen, and you will immedately expect the worst. It also has very disturbing images, partly because it is breaking away from may film cliche shots...and while I cliche is familar and comfortable, these shots are unexpected, raw, and uncomfortable....to the point of being down right disturbing. There is also a love story, and I will not ruin it by giving details....but some of the scenes and dialogue hit alittle to close to home. The film is German, however most of the story is told though the action and interaction between the leads. This movie is a 10! go see it! Rent it today. It is on my list to by, some how In need to find it, cheap. I have to search online. |
