 New JobJune 20, 2004 7:48 p.m. Related Reading There is much rejoicing in Mudville. Actually, I don't know if that's quite the best discription....more like quite celebration. But....with much yea I report that I now have a job. I think I'm going to learn all the details tomorrow, but I had an interview on Friday, and I received message on my machine yesterday telling me that I was being hired and they would contact me again on Monday. In short, I'm going to be the receptionist for a car dealership. I will being doing office work as well and there is opprotunity for advance me with the more I learn. It is a pay cut of $1.50 an hour but...that's okay...simply because I'm just happy of have a job. Also, they were telling me that I'll be reviewed with most likely a pay increase. ...So I'm not that worried. And if I was working at say a video store...as much as I would enjoy that...it would be atleast a $2.50 and hour pay cut. Oh plus the benefits here are fantastic! I'm not really excited per say because I'm really nervous. I just don't want to screw up. This is the first job I've gotten from going out and doing the grunt work...applying and interviewing. Anyway...it's time for Six Feet Under! must not be late! |
