 MUTANTS!September 29, 2003 10:01 a.m. Related Reading  I haven't mentioned this, but I've gotten really into the new Mystique comic. really REALLY into it. Did you know her name is Raven? and she has red hair. ....totally my alter ego! really awesome. So I'm going as her for Halloween. In fact my costume is very similar to the cover costume she wears. But you wouldn't believe how hard it has been to find a skull or a gun!!! I'm gonna try hot topic for the skull afterwork. Oh and tomorrow night I'm going with the Mr X. to a bar. He's going to be dressed as Nightcrawller! How awesome is that! Imagine being in a bar and looking over and seeing Mystique and Nightcrawller chillin' with a beer. ...We'll also be joined by Super Mario. Oh....I'm still strangely really attracted to Mr. X ...but there are times when it seems all we have to talk about is X-men or the Lord of the Rings. mmmm but he's so fucking smart! Last night he ws going off on how bad the Hulk movie sucked because they changed the origin story. He was explaining how in the comic the hulk is a mutated human where as the hulk in the movie is a mutant. and he was explaining other examples and how DC is very specific in what's a mutant and what's a mutated human. Nightcrawller, Mutant. Spiderman, Mutated Human. Mystique Mutant, Fantastic 4 mutated humans. It's when he goes off on this like that that I find him the sexiest. Does that make me lame? |
