I Raven Green have become a Lord of the Rings Dork. and don't hit me, but I've yet to read the books....note did say yet. I put Graham Hancock's Message of the Sphinx on hold to read The Fellowship of the Ring.

but how is the Raven girl a dork. ...Well besides the fact that I watched the extended version of the FOTR again, then I rented t2t and watched it twice, plus all the features again. ...And I KEEP watching or listening to all the features on the extended version (if not the extend version itself again (it's on now)....I doesn't matter how many times I watch the artists sitting down drawing Hobbiton as they just looked at the landscape.....I just can't get enough of that!! It's my Dad's and he hasn't watched any of that.

and as I said I've started reading fellowship again. I first made an attempt after Dragonlance and opened my mind to reading Fantasy and I had gone through a month of watching the movie.

Side Note: I get in habits (particually when I was in my apt and didn't have cable) where I will watch a movie or tv show (ones I have on tape) constantly for a month. For example last Feb. I watched Edward Norton Inside the Actor's Studio constantly. I would be in my apt...cleaning or doing homework and I would have it on...and then when it would end rewind the tape and play it again.

So last time I started reading it I got really turned off by the prologue. It was just so dry and I could't get into it....it was like reading the geneology at the beginning of Matthew in the Bible. But...I forced myself to get though it and near the end of it things actually started to pick up. ...Now I think I'm on the 3rd chapter and things have slowed (this might be blasphamy but..I perfer the pace of the film to the book....I understand why the beginning of the book spans the length of time that it does....but....) ...I have a feeling it's about to pick up some....and my goal is to have them all read in time for the release of The Return of the King.

Plus I changed my desktop to Frodo. I love Aragorn and all.....Vigo is just sexy as hell....but I love the Frodo.
