nothings changed the senates still corrupt & the emporer remains insane, and every day, is a new strain of slaughter, supply lines are less protected, evil on all sides, eye can smell the death on your flesh--creeping in, trapped within the twisting fingers of fear, and all eye see is ewe, that face, those eyes, burning like leprosy, eye can see u there poisoning the air, prostituing Nationalism, and eye want to attack, to rip out your heart and lay you flat on your back, and vomit a world of agony and truth into your throbbing illness of memory...and hate guides our way, eye long for the icy slap of a belt across my back, for the acceptance of death and blind cave war, the giving sleep of depression, the sweet elucidation of savage meaningless agression, chiseled in the meaty forearms of Mother Jupiter and his slave disciples, in the harem tents--outside, just beyond the edges--eye ride, a cycoptic mare in the fires of imagination. feeding my disease, a river of plagues, eye need something to remind me I'm still sinning that pain is important, that wurdz matter, that healing is possible, that eye am not alone ...in this --guard the houses--triple the watch,--Maidens, dig up your sorcery --sirens, sharpen your rocks..ewe will eat my pain again. whatever you need unite messiah ME

So I against my orginial intentions after my first hearing of Intuition, I bought the new Jewel cd, though I've yet to listen to all of it.

See, I've been a Jewel fan forever,...the first to defend her. Though I was really feeling like she sold out this time and I wasn't really liking it and wasn't going to support it.....

so why did I buy it?

1. Intuition has grown on me and now I really like it.

2. What's wrong with someone changing, what's wrong with wanting to feel glamourous and like a girl? I'd do it.

3. I love Jewel.

4. Since I've starting dating Jeff I've been in the mood to listen to fluffy happy, "I have an awesome boy who likes me" music. Since I've never been in this situation before I have very little of that type of music. Most of what I have is cynical, "that evil person broke my heart" music. (Fiona Apple, Poe, NIN, Garbage) Plus I have so many cd's with T songs and I just don't feel like listening to song with that type of bagage right now. And I know that Jewel has been dating this one guy pretty seriously for awhile now so the sound and lyrics of this new record should be the exact thing I've been rustling though my cd's to find.

5. I'm currently burning maybe 20 cds from my friend Becky, none of which are fluffy, all serious rock (white stripes, the cure, belle and sebastion) I don't need to buy a rock cd at the moment cause I'm getting a bunch of new ones of those.

6. It's summer, summer is a time for light fluffy music anyway.
