Okay so this my monthly entry for the Poetica-Collab. This months challange was to write about hope. And if you wanted more of a challange, ..write it in sonnet form. Well..I HAD every intention of attempting to write a sonnet because I never have, but I kept for getting and well..today is the 31. Thus..needed to get something down. So here is my poem about hope.

Hope is a Bitch

Hope is a pain in my ass.
Hope is a bitch.
Hope is an addiction.
Hope is a killer.

Hope is an annoying little dog that sits outside my door
everyday
and every night
barking and Yapping
and making a general nusiance of itself.
And it never goes away.

Every once and awhile
That little voice in my head
"Says feed it something,
How bad can it be?
What possibly happen?"

What can possibly happen?
it barks more!
and the every once and while
it breaks down the door
and attacks me
and I am left bruised and bloody
in a wreak on the floor
all because of that little innocent thing
called hope.
