 GH ideasMarch 09, 2004 10:33 p.m. Related Reading I've gotten really into reading The Message of the Sphinx. It had hit a slight dry point, but picked up again last weekend and I've been reading alot of it since. I went to the coffee house tonight and read some,...and all I wanted was a pen and paper but there as none to be found. I kept having all these ideas and wanted to write them down or even map out a diagram or 2. One thing that I think GH (Graham Hancock) keeps missing...and I've been thinking this since I finished reading Finger-Prints of the Gods is I remember getting a book of constellations when I was in elementary school. And I remember that the last one in the book was this giant detailed ship that was only found in Antartica. ...and how I wanted to go to Antartica just so I could look up and see that ship. Now...at the time I didn't realize that the book was a drawing around the star points, and that if I went there it really wouldn't look like that,...but.... In Fingerprints GH writes of his belief that there was a highly advance culture that was very nautically aware and were therefore also brillent astronomers. He also goes on to say that we should be looking for the rements of this civilization under the ice of Antarticia. Is it merely then a coincidence that the largest, most detailed constallation is a SHIP in Antartica? I can't imagine that GH doesn't know about this ...but I haven't read a reference to it yet. Another thing I kept thinking about was... When they were writing about how the pyrimd text reference to horizons, east and west....and GH was saying that that was referencing Duat (Giza plain) on land and Duat in the Sky .....I couldn't help but think that the second horizon was not in the sky, but rather the other astrologically phenomenal location of Tenochtitlán. what if something was going on a both locations? It's possible. now maybe unlikely but....hell the point of reading GH books is to learn more and ask questions. Question those things which we "know" are "facts" ...when in reality so much of it is just bullshit we have been spoon fed for so long that we believe it and consider it fact. |
