| boys, boobs, and politics, Damn the man June 29, 2002 12:40 a.m. Related Reading Okay, so the main purpose of this entry is that I'm am tired of having stupid girl enteries up on my diary all the time. I mean, granted I am a stupid girl, and I want to log all my stupid girl feelings and activities so I can look back and mock myself in the future (I mean come ON the way I've been behaving I need the self humiliation that comes from deleting stupid girl entries and wondering what the hell I was thinking.(remember M? remember theinternetboy?) Anyway, I watched This is the most liberal couple I know. ..the chick who puts her boobs one Bri's head and her man..... They are both conspiracy theroiests, (damn the man, save the empire, or better yet move to canada till Gdub is out of the whitehouse). Now because of my wonderful ceramics class keeping be busy, and my lack of cable, I was entirely unaware of the the whole pledge of allegence thing. ...Thus you can imagine what they were talking about. It was quite fasinating as well as imformative. I mean, I know because of 9-11 this is going to sound bad, but the idea of the pledge of allegance is a horrible concept. It's something we grow up doing, something we learn to recite, and then just do it out of habit without realizing it is that we are saying. I pledge Allegance to the Flag, of The United States of America, And to the Republic for which it stands, one nation, Under God, Indivisable, with Liberty and Justice for all. Next time you say it fully understand what it is you are saying. Now I'm not saying I disagree, but we are taught to blindly accept these things and say them but really we are saying.
