Clinton on KingSeptember 18, 2005 4:49 a.m. Related Reading So last night I caught most of Bill Clinton's appearence on Larry King, and I was so blown away (no pun intended) It made me long for a day when we had someone of above average intelligence in the White House! Humility too! King Asked him if he would have met with the woman protesting outside his ranch, and Cinton said that each president needs to make that decision for themselves. ...But he said he would have met with her. He told of how he gave the medal of honor to some men from Black Hawk Down, and told how one of the fathers just went off on him and how upset he was. And Clinton felt that man and every right to be with upset with him. That losing a child is the worst thing anyone can face and especially in such a needless, mishandled manner, and if he could be there to take the blunt of that father's anger and help him grieve and feel better, than that was the least he could do. I couldn't imagine hearing Dub say that. He also was talking about what he's personally doing to help countries in africa and why .....it was just so amazing! The idea, the understand that if we help other countries than things will be better in the long run for everyone! he was talking about what he's doing right now to help the energy situation, from promoting solar energy to wind energy. It makes me want to have him back in the white house. And the more he spoke it just showed what fucking Moron that Dub is. |
