Sweet Home Alabama vs. How to lose a guy...

So I watched Sweet Home Alabama last night because I thought it looked cute. ...Not only was it stupid and girlie in all the worst ways, but it was ridiculously predictable and barely entertaining.

Over all I cared nothing for Reese's character, but more so for the 2 guys in love with her and how bad she treats them.

I'm unsure on the values this movie is trying to instill. Here is a woman who has everything. She is very successful, her own business is a on it's way to the top, she's making lots of money, has great friends, is living somewhere she loves,...but she doesn't have her first love. Well ya know what? "welcome to the real world where most of the times things don't go your fuckin' way". ....Cheesey and Cliche just don't fully decribe this movie.

And you know what? The damn thing made me cry. Ball my eyes out. ...Not because the movie is sad...just because I'm tired of hearing about how great love is and having never dating someone I've actually liked.....It gets pretty frustrating.

However one movie worth taking the time to see is How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days.
I will say that if your in the mood for a cutesy romance. This is the one for you. The laughs in this are constant and worthy. The Leads are gorgeous and cute. Their on screen chemistry is amazing. And it a good example of a strong minded independent woman, who is smart, beautiful, and fun....crazy sexy cool. ...A chick that likes sports as much as the next guy. ...I could really identify with this. And it didn't leave me depressed for being single. ...Also yea for a Chick Flick where the catch phrase is "Bullshit".
