Did I mention that I got to set things on fire last night? I don't think I did. ...If I didn't...it was great. GREAT!

It was for my drawing class, and an example of 'conceptual art'. basicly I decided to pour paint thinner on the paper and set it on fire. ~giggle giggle` I like fire!

B helped me. We went out behind the studio building last night around 10pm. He was worried about the cops stopping me, but I was planning on saying that it was for drawing class....and would ask them if they rather I do it in drawing studio.

Anyway...it was seriously awesome! It really was. We got rocks to hold the paper down and then I poured paint thinner on it ...then I tried dropping matching in it, but it wouldn't catch fire. ...so the B started dholding the match in it....and it just wouldin't light, it kept going out. But we use up a small box of matches and maybe got the thing to light three times....but when it did,....hoo boy! That thing burned! Burned burned! It was absolutely beautiful! because the paint thinner had alot of blue in it (when you use mineral sprites the paint settles to the bottom, so it's clean the next time you want to use it..But B shook it up so when I poured it on the paper it was a really pretty blue.) and that reacted with the yellow and orange from the fire. I also had a little bit of red paint on the paper. ....But the thing was that as the paint thinner burned away it just looked so cool! I can picture it perfectly but I can't see to decrible it. .

Then....after the thing was burning we had to stomp it out...which was really interesting too. So there are burn marks and brush marks and feet marks....it's actually really beautiful. Yea! so when I know that I'm going to be complimented greatly when I go to class today, and I'm looking foreward to it. ~big Smile~

OH....and I just left the rox and the match stix and the paint thinner spills just as they were....and signed the area...because with conceputal art...art is whatever the artist says it is...and I think the area which I did this in should be considered are to. ~smile~ ~sticks tongue out~ So meh! ~smile~
