| Bourne Identity July 31, 2002 4:15 p.m. Related Reading  B and I just went to see Bourne Identity. It was serverly awesome. I loved it. James Bond eat your heart out. I went to see it because I'm a fan of the director (Swingers and Go) and I absolutely love Franka Potente (Run Lola Run and The Princess and the Warrior). This chick is such a great actress, and she just kicks so much ass! I think I might have to rank her next to Angelina Jolie as one of my top favorite actresses. Matt Damon was also incredibly hot in this movie. I know that's not something that makes a film 'great' and what not, but I just found him to be so incredibly sexy! He just had this bad ass air of cool around him that just....mmmm....wow. That was the thing, maybe it doesn't have the most absolutely complicated plot in the world, but it keeps you on the edge of your seat, eyes wide paying attention to everything. It is just so much fun to watch him kick ass! I mean, it's partially because that the ass kicking is done with a bit of humor considering he is doing all these awesome things and he doesn't know how or why he knows how, so everytime he does it he's some what surprised, and that adds and bit of humor and charm. Plus, when they kick ass in this movie, the REALLY kick ass. ...not the wussy ass kicking they did in the Matrix ("I know kung fu" "for the last time, no. you don't" (btw I really dislike the matrix, aside from an interesting concept, the whole thing was entirely cliche.)) No...you watch this and you actually believe that he is what he is. And I think that was part of the sex appeal for me, that fact that I could go anywhere with him and feel entirely safe. I mean, even with the gov't trying to kill me, I'm still safe. This is another movie on my list to buy. |
