 The AviatorAugust 29, 2005 5:31 a.m. Related Reading So I just finished watching The Aviator. I think it has been sitting in the house for a month and Becky and I had yet to watch. I decided tonight I was awake enough. I was Seriously Impressed! .....the story was okay, interesting. The acting above average,......but the Directing,....God Damn! I finally understand the whole Scorsese thing. I have to say I have seen very little Scorsese. I'm not big into the whole mob gaster thing so I hadn't seen a number of his films for that reason. But now, I think I'm going to watch a few of them, I mean asap. God, The way he frames the shot! So Beautiful! So Clean, Perfect. It was amazing to me! I understand how clumsy so many films are now by comparison. and I watch good films, that are beauifully shot, .....but this was surgicially cut and alined to perfection! It was like looking at a Da Vinci painting. As much as I love Max Beckman, I can't help but stand in awe of the Brillence and show the needed respect. ...I hadn't noticed the direction so much in the other films of his I have seen, but from this film alone he shows he really is the master everyone says he is. |
