New Rule: Pharmacists have to fill prescriptions.

As our audience seems to already know, more and more American pharmacists are refusing to fill prescriptions for birth control because of their personal moral objections. Hey, you know what would really teach us a lesson? If you took off your pretend doctor jacket and got another job. (Cont. Here)

Okay, really. I have serious opinions when it comes to The Pill.

When we talk about The Pill we are not talking about the ablity to prevent pregnancy, we are talking about power. That is what the whole debate is about. People get up in arms and argue this whole Morality issue. That's not what it's about. It's about Power. The developement of the pill gave women power, gave them control, and ever since people have being trying to deny it.

Now, how is this true? Well, I get to it.

First off, pharmacists seem to have no problems filling Viagra. We have many commericals for it along with all the other boner drugs all over our tv. ...When it comes to birth control...the only form we show on tv are Condoms....which again, the Men are in control of. Yes, women buy them and have them and have some say in them, but in the end it goes around the man's dick and therefore for he has final say.

The country is fine with men having sex. They can buy a medication that will give them a raging hard on, and can buy a piece of rubber to wrap around it, and drug stores all over are more than happy to take their money.

But,...really when was the last commerical you heard discussing birthcontrol for women? I've seen nothing discussing the new Ring thing. Nothing about the new Yasmine Pill. I mean...really you could make just as many vague commericals for the pill as you can viagra. ...Maybe a woman emerging smiling from a lotus flower...

Most insurance companies cover viagra but so few, if any, cover the pill.

Now...really what good does a boner pill do for you besides the boner...hmmm can't really think of anything,...I mean...aren't there physical side affects bad? isn't it bad for your heart?

Now, as far as the pill is concerned, all it is is a collecton of hormone suppliments that .....rearrange your body's hormones. ...Now...yes....it is nice to know that if I were to engage in sex I have a bit of a safety net. ...It will be nice to be able to engage in as sexual activity...which causes the release of semen, and not having to be constantly paranoid of where it is. ....ooo can't sit there, there's a bit of semen I miss, or ...wait have to wash my hands before I pee, just incase, or gee are those fingers safe... Yeah. That will be nice.

BUT ...that's not why I'm on the Pill!!!

I'm on the pill because ever since I started by period I've had incapasitating cramps. Once in high school I excused myself and for a while I just laid on the cold bathroom floor for awhile because I felt so bad, in the cold floor felt good. I did eventually end up going home from school that day.

I can't take midol because it makes me throw up.

I take alieve, usually 2, but sometimes it takes 3 to make the cramps bearable. Plus, there's bad back pain, nausea, headache, and all sorts of other yuckness.

The pill has been notiably consist in its ablity to minimize the intensity of cramps.

The pill also helps as a mood balancer, to prevent crazy PMS outbreaks. ...I personally, for the past year, have being going insane for atleast a week, prior to my period. ...I'd rather not do that, and the pill helps with that.

The pill regulates the woman's cycle, makes the periods more consistent and predictable.

The mill helps deminish the amount of discharge during menstration.

In other words, removes crazy pms, alieviates cramps, makes the period shorter, and helps me stay on track in knowing when to expect it.

Also...the pill often helps with skin clarity.

Thats right! I get clearer skin too!!

there are so many good, medical reasons to take the pill that have nothing to do with reproduction.....and there are pharmacists out there with a moral objection to filling it?

In the words, (and vocal pitch and phrasing) of Chris Rock,
"Fuck You!"

("Everything about you is a lie and you expect me to tell the truth? Fuck you!" Chris Rock)
